Barangay Carol-an Management System

Is a web-based platform designed to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of barangay operations. It was developed with the goal of modernizing the record-keeping and administrative processes in Barangay Carol-an.

This system aims to replace traditional manual record-keeping methods with a more systematic and digital approach, enabling barangay staff to easily manage residents’ information, officials’ profiles, and barangay documents with convenience and accuracy, while ensuring secure and proper data storage.

Allows user to efficiently store, update, and manage resident's information, ensuring easy access to accurate and organized data

DOCUMENT AUTOMATION

Automates the creation of certificates and reports, reducing manual tasks while ensuring fast, accurate, and consistent document processing

UTILIZES SEARCH FUNCTION

Enables users to quickly find specific records or information through efficient, real-time keyword-based search functionality

USER AUTHENTICATION

Utilizes login-register function to furtherly secure and protect data from unwanted access and keep track of system users

PASSCODE PROTECTION

Secures overall account management, data deletion, and database operations using a 6-digit passcode accessible only to superadmins

DATABASE MANAGEMENT

Allows specific users to export, import, and reset the database, making record management easier, safer, and more efficient

TARGET USERS

This system is built primarily for the officials and staff of the Barangay. It ensures easier access to resident information, essential documents and secured record keeping. By streamlining local government activities, it improves efficiency, promotes organized data handling, and supports better community service delivery.

This web-based system was developed by 4th year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students from
Central Philippines State University (CPSU) as part of their capstone project. It serves as both a graduation requirement and a demonstration of their technical skills in designing and building real-world systems.
